Auditions for Upcoming Productions of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play AND Hello, Dolly!

The Bethlehem Players, a community theater outreach group of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in the Grassland area of Franklin, will be holding public auditions for their upcoming productions of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play on October 20 at 1 p.m. and October 21 at 6 p.m. and for Hello, Dolly! on December 15 at 1 p.m. and callbacks on December 16 at 6 p.m. Both auditions are being held in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Performing Arts Center, 2419 Bethlehem Loop Road, Franklin, TN (37069). It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, presented by award-winning playwrights Osborne & Eppler, is being directed by Johnny Peppers and will take place December 5-8. All roles are available. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Ability to use multiple voices is a plus, but not required. No appointment necessary. Email Johnny Peppers at with any questions.

Hello, Dolly! is being directed by Dietz Osborne and those auditioning are asked to prepare a one minute comic monologue and 16 bars of a Broadway-style song.  Please bring a head shot and resume and sheet music in the correct key—an accompanist will be provided. To sign up for a five minute appointment, please contact director Dietz Osborne at  Auditionees should be aware that the roles of Dolly Levi and Horace Vandergelder have been cast. Rehearsals will begin Monday, January 6, 2014.  The show will February 28 – March 8, select days and times. Group sales reservations are now being accepted at with a 10% discount of for groups of 10 or more.
